In the News…

Before the House took its overwhelmingly supportive vote on Israel, Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Representative for New York, said, “Israel has the right to exist as a Jewish and democratic state. The special relationship between the United States and Israel is unbreakable; our commitment to Israel’s security is iron-clad, and Israel has the right to defend itself under the international rules of war against the brutal terror unleashed on its citizens by Hamas.”

He urged support for “our friends on the international stage,” adding, “And we have no better friend in the Middle East than the state of Israel.”

Congressman Jeffries said, “Let us also stand by President Biden as he works to bring American hostages, and Israeli hostages, held by Hamas back home. And the international hostages. And American hostages, and Israeli hostages, and international hostages back home,” he repeated.
